About Me

My name is Daniel Strain and I am a lifelong artist from a family of artists. I live with my wife and our two cats, Cassie and Zod, in Houston, Texas. After earning my degree in studio art, I spent many years in graphic art. I also did some illustration work for game companies, but never really sold a lot of my fine art or personal art on a regular basis until now. 

I have gone through a spiritual journey over the years and I also teach meditation and contemplative ancient philosophy and practices. Going forward, I have decided to dedicate my art to the beauty and wonder of the natural universe. Recently I have gotten more into painting and have made these pieces available to the public. I will be coming out with new pieces very soon.
